H.O.P.E. 4 Stroke is a non-profit organization helping individuals who have suffered from strokes.  We provide a variety of services for stroke survivors including support and encouragement to help them recover.  Teach stroke survivors about plasticity and how it works.  We hold meetings and gatherings to educate the public about strokes, and inspirational meetings that will help survivors and their families get back on track.  Here at H.O.P.E. 4 Stroke we also offer elegant pictures for sale to help raise money for this wonderful cause, and each purchase is tax deductable.  Though dead brain tissue cannot be restored, intensive rehabilitation can help many people learn to overcome disability. Intensive rehabilitation trains other parts of the brain to do what the damaged part originally did. This foundation is based on the concept that you can rewire your damaged brain cells to other parts of the brain and retrain those cells to work for you!
